3/8 - Dot's 90th

The first six pictures below were taken in the afternoon at the Marriott Residence Inn of White Plains NY.
At the party that evening at the Red Hat on the River in Irvington NY, a cycling slide presentation was made whose
pictures are here.
A shorter slide show was also presented, which is here. I had intended to say a little about this, but it was too noisy
for anyone to say anything. The things I wanted to mention are as follows: When I was a child I used to call my
sister Dossy. This is shown on the opening slide. I also wanted to point out that our family worked very long hours
in our wholesale stationery business. Vacations were taken in July. Hence pictures in our youth were taken mostly
in front of the store or on our vacations. We did go to hotels in the Catskills. There was a river there called the
Neversink that we used to go to and a couple of slides show being on a large rock that was in the river. A last thing
I wanted to mention was about family. Family trees are shown in a couple of the slides and a couple of pictures
show 4 generations of women - which is emphasized in blue on the tree in the next to last slide.
